The Kate Flynn Medal 2021 will take place as part of the National Intensive Care COVID Research & Scientific Conference on 4th September 2021.  This meeting takes place the day after the two-day ICU 4 U 2 charity cycle.

As per usual Kate Flynn criteria, applications are invited for submission of any presentations of interesting cases or case series related to Intensive Care Medicine.

This meeting will be a Webinar, and thus individuals will present remotely online in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. Individuals whose work may not be selected for live presentations will be invited to record their work in a Podcast format which will be posted on the College and ICSI website.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

The presenter should submit an abstract as a word document—Max 250 words and structured as background, case presentation, and conclusion.

Abstracts may include relevant case reports or case series. Cases should be original, including why the case should be reported, and the essential implications or message for the Intensive Care Community.

Please email submissions to icsi@coa.ie.

Please note the closing date for submissions of presentations will be 3 pm Friday 13th August
